As the crescent for Eid approaches, many business owners make the mistake of “switching off.” While the final ten nights are for intense worship and seeking Laylatul Qadr, the transition into Shawwal should be a disciplined launch, not a total collapse into exhaustion.
In Islam, the sign of an accepted deed is the ability to follow it with another good deed (Istiqamah). In business, the sign of a successful Ramadan Sprint is the momentum you carry into your post-Eid launch.
The Islamic Framework: The Concept of Istiqamah
The Prophet (PBUH) was asked about the most beloved deeds to Allah, and he replied:
“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are small.” (Sahih Bukhari)
For the GME Network founder, the goal is to take the discipline, early-morning focus, and ethical clarity developed during Ramadan and institutionalize them. Your business shouldn’t go back to “normal” after Eid; it should move to a “New Excellence.”
The “Eid-to-Launch” Roadmap
1. The Final 10 Nights: Vision Casting
While you are in the Masjid or performing Qiyam, use the clarity of these nights to ask for Fath (an opening).
-
The Business Move: Keep a small notebook nearby. When a moment of strategic clarity hits you regarding your next product or service, jot it down. This is your “Legacy Roadmap.”
2. The “Soft Launch” Strategy
Don’t wait until the Monday after Eid to start thinking about sales.
-
The Action: Use the week of Eid as a “Celebration Phase.” Offer your existing customers an “Eid Gift” (exclusive access or a bonus) rather than a “Discount.” This builds loyalty before you ask for a new sale.
3. Re-investing the “Barakah Capital”
If you followed Article 5 and purified your wealth, you now have a “clean” foundation.
-
The Strategy: Take a portion of your Ramadan profits and re-invest them into a new project or a new hire immediately after Eid. This acts as a physical “Bismillah” for the new season.
Activity: The “Shawwal 1st” Action Plan
Since we are avoiding files, let’s build your Post-Eid Launch List right here. Answer these three questions to set your schedule for the day after Eid:
-
The One Big Launch: What is the specific product, service, or feature you are releasing the week of Eid?
-
The Morning Continuity: What time will you wake up? (Hint: If you can wake up for Suhoor, you can wake up for a 6:00 AM “Deep Work” session in Shawwal).
-
The Gratitude Reach-out: Who are the first 3 clients or partners you will message to thank for their support during Ramadan?
The Challenge: Write these three answers on a sticky note and put it on your laptop lid. Do not open that laptop on the day of Eid—enjoy the celebration—but on the morning after, you hit the ground running.
